As an actor, I am always looking to learn something new. I believe each character has something to teach me about my process, and that no production will leave me unchanged. I like playing characters who challenge me to physically transform and put my skills to the test, to craft something I've never portrayed before.
In the rehearsal room, my goal is always to be my authentic self. I lead with kindness, empathy, and curiosity. I want my collaborators to know me as a person they can trust, an actor who will support their choices and is always down to play. When given direction, I always take it as an invitation to try something new and layer a new element onto my existing work.
In my training, I was particularly impacted by animal work, mask, engagement in the imaginary world, and creating a physical preparation for each scene. These are some of the key parts of my process as I stand now, however I am always open to try something and see how it sticks!
